With 13 years of experience as Deputy Recorder beginning in 1999, JoAnn was elected, Recorder of Deeds, in November 2012.  During her time as Deputy Recorder, she was instrumental in bringing document imaging to the office in January 2007.  As Recorder, JoAnn has implemented "free" online record search.  She has also implemented a credit card payment option and looks forward to bringing more technological advancements to the Recorder's office while continuing to preserve the records of DeKalb County.
